Mr Andi J Sunadim, General Director of Aquatec Indonesia talked to VSA: “Our company focuses not only on the production of fish cages, but also the cooperation with technical universities to develop HDPE cages for lobster farming. At the moment, rattan small cage is almost the only choice for thousands lobster farms in Indonesia. Therefore, Aquatec really wants to work with Vietnamese partners, especially investors who have enough financial ability to grow lobster around Natuna Island (Indonesia) which was planned and authorized by the government"

Owning 12 hectares of water surface and recruiting more than 600 experienced workers, Aquatec is among a small number of Indonesian companies can satisfy the demand of serious customers for industrial aquaculture solutions. Their CEO shared: “We have introduced a lot of square cages at size of 3x3m or 4x4m for local farmers; and the government backed us by buying them to distribute farmers for free, in order to promote the Indonesian industrial aquaculture."

Aquatec is looking forwards to cooperating with VSA members to investigate and test their technical solution with lobster, fish and other farming species. Mr. Andi claimed: “We are very confident in the quality of our fish cages and offer them 25 years guarantee policy. When the orders increase, our price will definitely become more competitive, both in domestic and international markets."
